10 Things I am Loving this Week [3]

  1. I am thanking my summer self for making and freezing tomato soup. I do not know about you but I cannot seem to feed myself lunch. This also might be a me problem but if I am not excited about the food I am going to eat, I just won’t. So today I pulled out a portion of roasted tomato soup that I made from tomatoes I grew in my garden and made a grilled cheese.

  2. Hearing my almost 4 year old sing all the songs in Frozen. All my girls have gone through a Frozen phase and this is hers. She will wear her Elsa dress and sing the songs all day. I am currently sitting in the kitchen listening to her little voice belt out “Let it Go”

  3. Tulips. They have always been my favorite flower and knowing that they are about to start blooming makes me very happy.

  4. This tiny yoga mat. I have been doing pilates in the living room and my girls of course want to do it with me. So of course a child sized yoga mat was in order.

  5. Starting seeds in milk jugs. This is the easiest way to start seeds without having to think about it. I am planting my cold hardy crops in milk jugs. I do not have the capacity to keep track of those seeds right now.

  6. Mulberry silk base layers. I wear sweaters most days and I have not found my favorite shirt to layer underneath, until now. I have always thought cotton shirts have been to bulky and the sweater gets all bunched up on the arms. The mulberry silk keeps me warm and is thin enough to not bother me.

  1. When I say these things are life changing, I mean it. At my last massage she had me use one of these during the hour massage. At the time I had a cold and wasn’t able to breathe so the thought of laying on my stomach and not able to blow my nose was troublesome. Once I put one of these things on my nose I COULD BREATHE AGAIN. When I got home I immediately ordered some. This morning I had a headache, I popped on the peppermint nasal diffuser and BAM headache gone after a little bit, not medicine needed.

  2. Texting back to back. If getting 20 texts in a row annoys you I am probably not the friend for you. I will blow your phone up. lol. Random thoughts, pictures, links, articles I read. If I think of you when I see it, I am sending it your way. Time is also a made up construct when it comes to texting. I have no regards to time, 7am, 2am, 5pm, it’s all the same, you are getting the text. I have also been known to push that “notify anyways” button. lol.

  3. Chicken wings with blue cheese. Enough said.

  4. This vase. I am not one for impulse purchases. I normally let things sit in my cart for weeks before purchasing. Especially when it comes to home decor. I am very indecisive but when I saw these I KNEW they would be perfect for my design esthetic of quirky, Tudor, English cottage.

    Chasing joy, Lisa
